Gardener’s Cottage is an olde worlde two-bedroom cottage in the gardens of Quernmore Park Hall Estate. This well appointed refurbished cottage hosts its very own private entrance to our Secret Walled Garden that was once the workplace for Monks when Quernmore Park Hall was a monastery.

Brief History

The estate of Quernmore Park Hall in 1630, was conveyed by the Crown to Roger Downes of Wardley and then sold c.1675 to Sir Thomas Preston of Furness and eventually became part of the lands of the Clifford family and later in 1794 then becoming part of the lands of Charles Gibson of Preston.

Your carefully considered approach to decor and furnishing compliment the style of the cottage far exceeded our expectations, attention to detail and cleanliness was second to none. ”
