Winter & Christmas Garland Workshops

Three Garland making Events:  A Day Workshops and 2 Evening Workshops

Decorate your own front door,  an internal door or make as a gift for a family member or friend.

Invite a friend, family member, or your whole family to the workshop as a Christmas gift. (Family Tickets available)

A chance to spend time together in a special place and come away with a beautiful handmade natural wreath.

If you have special decorations you want to incorporate into your wreath please bring them along. 

There may also be special extras available for sale.

A Day: December 10.30am – 4pm.

Supervised children are welcome, one adult for each child essential.

The Day Workshop includes:

Timetable – subject to changes.

10.30am – 12midday – Welcome, orientation & guided walk around the Estate Grounds and the Victorian Walled Garden; gathering greenery for the garlands, bring your secateurs! (we will have some available as well).

12pm – 1pm lunch – home made soup, bread, apple crumble & custard, special diets catered for.

1pm – 3.30pm Introduction to garland making and the making.

3.30pm – 4pm mulled wine/fruit juice, mince pies and Festive Songs

Pricing includes lunch, drinks and materials.

We also have a bursary fund and the possibility of a work exchange, 

please apply in writing at least 2 weeks before the workshop.

Children – each child must have an adult to supervise them at all times.

Children – under 5s free, under 10s £10, under 16 £40 under 25 £60

Two Evenings:  7pm-9pm 

December Teens and young Adults. Parents and carers welcome.

December Adults session.

The Evening Workshops include:

7pm Welcome and orientation, introduction to garland making and the making.

8.30pm – 9pm  Mulled wine/fruit juice, mince pies (special diets accommodated).

Pricing includes materials and drinks and mince pies.

Adults £70, 16-25 year olds £40. We also have a bursary fund and the possibility of a work exchange,
